can't you see it?  it's in the air
can't you hear it?  it's everywhere
the rhythm of life is coming from the trees
can't you hear it?  it's floating on the breeze

Verse 2:
it's like a heartbeat from the ground
out in the street and all around
if you listen you may learn
the rhythm of life is in your every turn

Verse 3:
feel it pulsing in your soul
always cleansing part of the whole
we all are part of this lively beat
drumming the rhythm I feel complete

Verse 4:
it's kind of scary when I expand
break my boundaries spread across the land
part of the rhythm is learning how to flow
it feels so good finally to let go
